This is Reverend Jim. Today’s Spiritual Poetry will explore some of the main events of 2020, with many of these events being disasters. The World Health Organization declared a global COVID pandemic. The US stock market had a record one-day drop in value. Police killed George Floyd, but a woman with a cell phone recorded the incident that resonated around the world with protests of racism and police brutality.
It is now 2024, and a potentially disastrous presidential election is coming. There are mutual war crimes being committed by Hamas and Netanyahu’s Israeli Defense Forces. Here we are again needing to find our path and our faith. We need to keep moving forward, and we need to be looking for Divine Intervention.
2021 – Moving Forward, Looking Up
We have come through 2020,
which is a year we won’t forget.
We are now in 2021;
the challenges remain.
2020 provided lessons
of who we are in difficult times;
it has reminded us that we
still have a lot of work to do.
Source provides us a crisis
to reveal the real situation within.
Faith provided the courage
to begin, and begin again.
Keep moving forward.
Keep looking up
to find your faith;
living life with love and grace
We are now in a time of crisis,
we are always in a time of change;
maintain your courage and your faith;
know that the Source with you remains.
