Completeness from Within
Whatever is the opposite
of loneliness can only be
felt from within one’s self.
There is no outer source of being.
What is the opposite
of loneliness? I have been alone
in crowds of people;
surrounded, but isolated.
It is from within that we find
that we must stand alone
and still be complete.
This is our strength and our weakness.
There are no pretensions
within our souls.
We are complete or empty
by the beliefs in ourselves.
Be alone and not lonely,
and never deceive yourself
that others can make you whole.
Be complete and true to your soul.

Walking the Spirit Path

I just read this. It went to a different part of mail. I understand this writing. I feel like at times that I’ve lost touch with my soul. Maybe I have not been true to my soul because it sometimes feels lost and other times not. I have been alone and not lonely and other rimes alone yet feel the loneliness. I’m still a work in progress. Late late bloomer am I. There is a song Stevie wonder sings and in it the lyrics say “ where is my spirit? I’m nowhere near it.” I’ve heard spirit and soul are separate. I’m not sure.
