Angel of Death
I have become a companion
of the Angel of Death.
Some fear death; some embrace death,
but all will know Death on this plane.
I did not volunteer for this mission
I was chosen and I don’t know why.
Perhaps it is because
Death holds no fear for me.
I was given a Spirit Rising song
to help release the soul
through the arms of Death
and into the light.
I was given many chants
to assure you of God’s love.
Live your life to the fullest
and accept your passing.
Life, death and the immortal soul
are all given to you.
Go forward without fear
in Grace and Peace.
