Iris of the Soul
The iris of the eye
contracts with bright light
and expands with darkness.
This iris allows seeing with different light.
The iris of the soul
expands with spiritual energy
and contracts with evil energy.
This iris allows seeing good over evil.
Cold is the absence of heat.
Darkness is the absence of light.
Spiritual energy is compassion and love.
Evil energy is selfishness and hate.
The iris of the soul expands
to bring in the spiritual light
that overcomes the darkness of death
and guides us upon our Spirit Path.
